Very fruity and easy-drinking. Nose has very ripe berry fruit and charcoal smoke element. Hint of iodine. Very soft and mouthfilling. No tannin to speak of. Lots of dark fruit in a vaguely savory format.

Aug 19th, 2018Light in body but huge in flavor. A sort of deceiving angle, I admit, it almost shouldn’t be so jammy... but it is. Deal with it. Bold red fruit flavors and intense tannin almost overwhelm initially, but then fade nice and slowly into a little bacon fat, pepper, and gamey/leathery notes. This one lingers so swell, but I think I should have waited another year or two to drink it. Yum!

Big in mouth. Rich. Thought too big at first sip (esp. compared to previous wine I had). But more nuanced and aged than previous too.
