A blend of 90% Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and a touch of Merlot, aged in large oak casts. Deep Ruby with black and red fruit aromas with toasty oak and herb pepper spice nuances. The palate shows tart blackberries and sour cherries, savory tannins, full body, nice balance, long finish ending with wet stone mineral character. Much better than older vintages.

This is nice. Don't know what I paid for it. Strong dark fruit presence with gripping tannins and a little minerality. I'm drinking it without food, and it would be much better with a bit of grilled something. But it's nice, I'll say it again.
Listening to Alabama Shakes.
