Hmm, slightly perplexed and disappointed! Not a bad wine, but not the wine i had hoped for or expected! Nice bright dark fruits but lacking the structure of a good Chianti! Almost TOO approachable; without the acidity I’d expected!

Very nice with gnocchi. A food wine. Lots of tiny legs streaming down the glass. Wonderful to sip by the Opera Di Santa Maria Del Fiore.
