Deep Ruby red color with aromas of black and red fruit adding tobacco and herb pepper spice nuances. On the palate flavors of blackberries and sour cherries, savory with licorice notes. Fine chalky tannins, full body, nice balance, long finish ending with herb and fruit mineral character.

Medium light ruby quite wide light ruby rim . This has a slightly smudged nose , slightly dried fruits and spice hints, black tea , quite ripe without a lot of freshness or character, a bit volatile as well . On the palate this is better , with a touch of toasty red cherry , liquorice , rounded mouthfeel and balanced acidity , slightly high alcohol . Finishes a bit quick , with a touch of black tea , dried cherry and herbs . Drink now and over the next 5 years or so , I was expecting a bit more from this , pretty simple and basic .
