From Dave Phinney offering, a blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah & Syrah with aromas of berry fruits with sweet spice and forest floor notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with oak, herb and cacao tones. Well integrated on fine tannins, long finish ending with earthy oak character. Pricey, but Very nice!

Nice sweet Zinfandel blend. Is it worth $50? Nah! But if it were $30 I would really praise it. Sweet to start with jammy Zinfandel flavors, with some tartness and alcohol in the finish. Nowhere as good as a Turley Zinfandel at this price, but okay Zinfandel. This wine will not improve with age.
