This Zin blend is very nice. The Zinfandel is sublime and the Syrah is soft. There is also a smattering of Petite Sirah in the mix. Such a silky mouthfeel, opulent fruit, vanilla, a bit of spice and chocolate. Round tannins and a very smooth finish. Orin Swift bottles weigh a ton! Really liked this wine.

Oct 10th, 2025Deep purple in color; prunes and wood smoke on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium tannins; tastes like black plums, graphite, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Not a fan of the prune flavor, but otherwise, it's pretty good. Nellie didn't like it, Leslie says it's ok, and I like it.
