@Lyle Fass is some kind of freak genius for finding this wine. Seriously if you judged a book by its cover, you would question the bottle shape for a German Riesling (or any Riesling). But you’ve just got to trust the Fass wines... this is amazing. So dense! So light and yet also mouth filling. The fruit comes in a second wave of delight. Such a beauty!

May 1st, 2020Love this wine. A different style than anything we bring in. Nose is packed with apricot, melon, some Sponti funk, white chocolate and a wild feral quality. Gorgeous and alluring aromas. Densely fruited and super pure. Terrific freshness, balance and terrific length. So well made and opulent but also chiseled and restrained. Long. Man this is long. Superbly complex and as it opens there is more finesse and texture. Brilliant stuff.

Very powerful apricot nose. The wine is not convincing. Tastes more like Viognier than Riesling - honey’ed. May be some folks will like it but for me it is just an odd taste for Riesling. 😐 sorry.
