With a 2 hour decant (needs 3) the 2000 Lalanden has noticeable Petit Verdot and pales in comparison to its sibling the Baron in this vintage. Still a very good wine! — a month ago
Stellar bottle! Fully resolved with complex tertiary flavors — 2 months ago
With a five hour decant the 2009 Rousseau Chambertin wine was brilliantly aromatic, dense, intense and some level of complexity. Next time will try 2 hour decant but this wine has a long road ahead! — 10 days ago
A big wine! Four hour decant was just right for this 1998 edition! — 15 days ago
Two hour decant this 2000 Pichon Baron is exceptional! Very smooth glycerin like coating covering black and red cherries, leather, tobacco, olives and smoke simply outstanding. The finish could be a bit better though — 2 months ago
With a four hour decant this 2001 Rousseau Chambertin was ethereally light with a good finish but not as complex or the signature sappy fruit associated with Rousseau. A good wine not great. Next time will use a two hour decant — 10 days ago
A 90 minute decant at a PWTG event and very nice 1995 Arajuo Eisele — 2 months ago
Simply superb bottle! Decanted for an hour and consumed over next two with beef stew — 2 months ago
Popped and poured. Took a while to put on some weight. Beautifully balanced with superb nose and excellent silkiness. Somewhat less in complexity. — 2 months ago
