pairs well with betrayal. So crisp and clean, unlike the step gabe spilled the last of the mustard on. — 4 years ago

One of the absolute best Monastrell I’ve had from Spain. I specifically told the wine store guy I didn’t line most of these from Spain because they are too fruit driven & flabby. He said this was old school and very reminiscent of southern France. He was spot on: this had that feral quality, meaty, iron, black olives, smoky, just transported me back to the affordable days of Minervois & Bandol. Balanced beautiful generous - kept opening more & more over a couple of hours. A real treat! — 3 years ago

While the nose is of prototypical tawny port with raisin, caramel, fig, cocoa, and sandalwood, the palate has a fruitier profile with subtle cherry flavor. Full and rich but not cloying - it’s actually on the drier end of the taste spectrum for a tawny.

Roller coaster wine. This one was really nice. — 4 years ago
Lemony, crisp little but herbaceous, lovely and real freshly bottled. Delicious with food, but even better with good friends. — 5 years ago
On a quest to find traditional wines that Igor will like but I will, too :) this Tempranillo hit the spot. Earthy and interesting and smooooooth. — 5 years ago
A dry sparkling that tastes of honey. Had the 2017 vintage. Drank on the couch while it stormed outside upstate with Majken & Hattie. — 6 years ago
