First bottling for this Cesanese del Piglio producer, and it’s very interesting. Still young and a bit harsh on the tannins, but the style is lean and elegant. Not a typical Cesanese. Notes of Dolcetto-like dark fruit, crossed with floral Nebbiolo elements. — 5 years ago

when i first opened this, it was so tight. Left it a day and OMG! exotic woods and dried wild huckleberries, wild fennel, hints of zatar - wild mountain herbs. Super balanced!! — 6 years ago
