On the nose; macerated lemon & golden apple, just a whiff of apple cider, overripe pineapple, lemon custard, the citrus flesh in marmalade, lime pith with some flesh, sea spray, chalkiness, yeast, yellow lilies, citrus blooms and white spring flowers.

The body is full & rich. Acidity is sharpe & crisp. Macerated lemon & golden apple, just a whiff of apple cider, a little bit of sour green apple, overripe pineapple, lemon custard, the citrus flesh in marmalade, lime pith with some flesh, sea shells, chalkiness, round grey volcanic minerals, yeasty, doughy, bread, yellow lilies, citrus blooms and white spring flowers. The long finish is rich and is excellently executed.

Another spot on wine from Morgan, I love the back label story about his grandmother passing along the love of wine in their family. Grenache is so much about how it is grown, and the sourcing for this wine delivers great fruit. The winemaking is restrained which lets the fruit shine thru. 😇 I looked up to the sky & the Purple Angel came down upon me filling my glass with light blocking purple ruby rain that oozed aromas of black & blue berries w/ thick chocolate, vanilla, dates, heavenly minerals & smokey oak - “drink this godly juice” she said in a booming voice🍷

I dared embrace the heavenly nectar & succumbed to a full on palate explosion of ripe dark concentrated blackcurrant/berry bathed in raspberry cocoa and minerals💥

My mouth was left open in awe as my purple stained teeth yielded to the long silky fruit loaded intense finish & I myself turned into a naughty purple devil - spank me angel, spank me 😈
