Wow! Star bright, coppery straw in color. Big, bosomy nose of white flowers, golden apple, and white peach. All of this echoed in layers on the medium-full-bodied palate with medium acidity and a long, spiced apple finish. Not your grandmother’s PG. There’s some real substance and complexity here making this a great upscaling of everyone’s go-to white. Pasta with Alfredo sauce? Roasted chicken? Special occasion? MP: First bottle at Avondale Wine and Cheese in Charleston South Carolina. Very strong notes. Very tight flavor in a champagne flute. Definitely opens up in a wine glass but almost goes flat.

Pale ruby color.
Aromas of barnyard, red fruit.
Dry. Flavors of black fruit, forest floor, leather. Tangy with amazing acidity! Fresh but with aged notes. Very interesting!
