Les Halos de Jupiter

Côtes du Rhône Grenache Blend

This is an absolutely crowd pleaser GSM out of the Côtes du Rhône Appellation. The composition of this wine is a blend of a very old Grenache at 75%, Mourvèdre at 15% &
Syrah at 10%.
All these grapes are sourced from Signargues, Cairanne and Rasteau, which have an eco-environment and well delineated terroirs from both banks of the Rhône River. Everything combined translates into an exceptional expression of Grenache-driven, rich, powerful yet subtle and generous on the palate with a compelling finesse and extremely balanced.
Hard to have only one glass, cheers!

Vieux Château Saint André

Montagne-St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

I also have a weak spot for Pomerol’s and right banks from St. Emilion. This find delivers on that Merlot inspired approach. Subtle. Expressive. — 5 years ago

Château Du Gazin

Canon-Fronsac Red Bordeaux Blend 2017

Enough age to bring the fruit intensity down a notch, & man that’s some good fruit- emphasis on the cassis & blackberries. Usually not a mega fan of Bordeaux, but this fit the bill for a shared bottle with friends, drink outside on the banks of the Hudson. — 3 years ago
