Delectable this was the Pinot Noir. Having a nice pre performance meal prior to the “Book of Mormon “ at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre - Lyric Theatre - which was hilarious I thought. The wine was young, my first 2018 Red - fresh and simple. Some foresty and red fruit aromas. Good intensity for the price. — 7 years ago
3rd in the Competition.... Dave Bishop paid $30+.... about typical for them, they buy good stuff struggle to every win.... I voted this as the best — 7 years ago
Owes name to man of the cloth born in 1264, Bertrand de Goth, Bishop of Comminges, in the Pyrenees, later became Archbishop of Bordeaux in 1299. Blend, 57% Merlot, 38% Cab Sauv & 5% Petit Verdot & Cab Franc, aged in new French oak for 18 months. Pronounced youthful black fruit aromas with earthy baking spices. Blackberry & plum palate flavors with cedar & spice integrated with firm tannins, long ending, earthy oak with a mineral tang. Needs more bottle age! Tasting Sample! — 6 years ago

no tertiary notes yet, but this mine is really smooth on the pallet and has great balance. Wish I could hold out longer. — a month ago
