Probably about at the end of this 2009 unless you super carefully store it. But it's very interesting, Dark toffee, caramel, kind of Madeira type notes. — 6 months ago

I opened my go-to Knights Valley Cabernet to compare it with the Trace Ridge from Jackson Estate. While the two share a similar aromatic profile, this offers a fuller body, greater depth, and a firmer structure, making it the more sophisticated of the two.

Light, Savory, low tanins, medium acidity — 8 years ago
Colour is very pale with just the lightest hint of coral pink. It’s off-dry with lots of ripe tropical fruits on the noise and palate - cantaloupe, peach, and a hint of floral. It’s a very interesting blend of grapes. — 8 months ago
From a full tasting of Frank’s wines, this one got my second place after Magma.

Good value from Wegmans. Reminds me of some sort of rum, both in aroma and flavor. Very pleasant. — 6 years ago
At Mark Paul NYD Party old Cab series. Continuing with old Cab series. Equally surprising as the McDowell but a totally different profile, with more oxidative notes as expected for such an age and with rounder texture and shorter finish — 9 months ago
So delicious and gets better as the meal goes on. Easter brunch — 5 years ago
Deep plum on the pour. Hints of herb, smoke, and oak on the nose that carries over on the tongue. Nice balance light tannin. This is an easy everyday pour! — 6 years ago
Dry & earthy. 2015 vintage still a little green — 7 years ago
