Clean, fresh at nearly 5 years. Reductive and a little spritzy in a good way. Resembles a top German Müller-Thurgau. — a month ago
Soft and fruity with balanced tannins. Maybe softer than preferred to pair with pizza, but quite good anyway on its own — a month ago
My first exposure to Don Melchor was rewarding! Rich, dark fruit maturity on the nose was consistent with long lasting dark cherries and red plum on the palette. Soft tannins reminiscent of a well aged Cabernet, the softness of this young cab was surprising and delightful! An absolute treat to taste!! — 2 months ago
Sight: Completely opaque, blood red, slight tawny. On nose: fruit forward, tobacco. On mouth: very smooth, full bodied, was difficult to taste fruits but strong oak and earthy presence. Might not have been at correct temperature. — 14 days ago
East summer drink. Fine fruity light finish with a touch of crisp green apple. — a month ago
I adore this woman maker in the Dolomites, but my friends felt this white blend too suave for the setting (San Juan, PR) — a month ago
