All around nice wine. Medium acidity, medium tannins. Cherry and dark fruit aromas. Good by itself and pairs nicely with our homemade Tuscan style potato soup. — a month ago
Cape Roth is over while we were in BALENA for our yummy dinner that Mario made which is chicken cutlets with mushrooms and Caprese salad! — 3 months ago
Ro Steakhouse! Great food. Good wine pairing — a month ago
Seemingly more youthful than the notes on my last bottle, about 20 months ago, would suggest. A fair amount of bricking at the rim, but the nose shows a nice integration of dark macerated cherry, Provençal herbs, iodiney minerals, and sun-baked earth. In the mouth, the tannins are there but resolving. Decent concentration, and sneaky acidity lifts it up a bit. Nice! — 2 months ago
