Madiran Tannat Blend 2018

Really well-balanced and structured wine. Still lots of tannins, but it is expected for this blend. Strong taste and aftertaste. — 3 days ago

Vieilles Vignes Madiran Tannat 2003

Best one from the bunch I bought some 20 years ago. Dark, mysterious red. Full bodied, powerful. Spice box. Coffee grind, dark chocolate and cherries. Dusty, cacao like tannins. Bold and brazen. — 3 months ago

Vieilles Vignes Madiran Tannat Blend 1990

[80% Tannat, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon] definitely some Brett in this one, but not over the top for me, fruit is still fresh, structure suggests this is mature, very good balance and length, long finish. For those highly intolerant of Brett, you probably won’t like this as much as I did. — a month ago

Tannat Blend 2011

Find this to be delightful. Great fruit nose, good mix of red and black fruit. The taste is complex, very fruit forward but with lots of herbs, flowers, and caramel notes. Good acidity, and overall well-balanced. Good linger on the finish. — 8 years ago

Les Jardins Philosophiques Petit Courbu Petit Manseng 2017

Ming L
9.2

The nose brims with orchard and tropical fruit layered with honeysuckle and fresh herbs. On the palate, the acidity remains crisp and lively, yet there’s a gentle creaminess that rounds the edges with quiet sophistication.

At year 8, this 70/30 Petit Courbu/Petit Manseng blend remains a thoughtful meditation in the glass fitting to its name.

Didn’t know they made anything other than dry wines with this grape.
