Terrific aromatic intensity with minerals, meyer lemon, sea air and more. Usually needs to open aromatically. The palate is a wonder. Classic PF finesse and airiness along with massive power and depth. Sapid and long. This needs mega air but the quality is off the charts. Today is all toast and razors. Nose is gorgeous. Not a 1er Cru, but it should be! Lovely Vosne. Velvet, sappy cherry fruit with Vosne spice. Hints of vanilla and stones. A whiff of oak char on the nose, but less so on the palate. Decanted for 2 hours prior to consumption. — 5 years ago
