Vintage 2018 | tasted and drunk over three days. With this cuvée Montdoyen challenges at Cru Bourgeois level. Made from 80 % cabernet franc and 20 % cabernet sauvignon. 14 months barrel aging. Montdoyen is situated in Monbazillac/Bergerac. Impressive in smell and taste with nice red fruit, vanilla and good structure. Paired with a steak and Brussels sprout. Curious to cellar and see what happens. High priced, so moderate p/q. — a year ago
White. Pretty sweet: goes perfectly with foie gras. — 10 years ago
Vintage 2005 | 70% sémillon 20% sauvignon blanc 10% muscadelle. It comes in a 37,5 cl bottle, about the length of a cork longer than a 75 cl bottle: here I am! Impressive smell of honey and apricot, and a taste of nectar, beautiful sweetness. | Paired with my love’s apple crumble with cranberries and currants soaked in single malt - nomnomnom — 4 years ago

Vintage 2014 | Incredible harmonious and expressive wine from the great 2014 year (for sweets). Melon, peach, honey. Hints of botytris. Awesome balance with nectar-ish sweet that is balanced with nice acidity. I regret only buying two bottles, because this is só much better than mediocre Sauternes. Heaven paired with bluecheese. At my winetasting club it was preferred above a Pinot Gris Selection Grain Nobles. — 17 days ago
