Deep ruby color with brick rim. Well developed wine with vibrant rich aromas of fruits, wood, trufel, spices and tertiary notes: gouache color. Invisible tannins. Elegant, balanced complex wine. Château Nenin is considered one of the better wines in Pomerol. Estate belongs to Delon since 1997 (owns Château Potensac & 2nd growth Château Leoville-Las Cases). 32 ha vineyard: Merlot 78%, CabFr 21%, CabS 1%. Château Nénin is the epitome of a great Pomerol "vin de garde" (wine for laying down). Rating 4,3/5 — 9 years ago
Still fairly tannic and reticent. Give it al least 5 more years. — 4 months ago

Delon family (Las Cases, Potensac) Great Pomerol for the price. 2014 is accessible in its youth. Little bit of a modern approach, but still has some nice tannin structure. — 9 years ago
Usually don’t reach for Bordeaux when thinking rosé but this was actually really nice. Even 2021 drinking nicely now. — 2 years ago
Rather more gentle and feminine than the Potensac. — 8 years ago
This is very good. — 12 years ago

Whoa! This is great! And it’s quite a value, too! This is better than some Bordeauxs that cost ten times what this costs. I don’t know how well it will hold up in 10 to 20 more years, but it’s very drinkable now.
Wet, cobblestones and wet leather on the nose. A hint of cassis on the front of the tongue. Medium tannic structure. Flinty high notes on the mid palate and on the finish. No low notes to balance out the high, but otherwise I’m happy with this wine. I’m giving it a 9.5 because it’s my ideal of what a Bordeaux should be. — a month ago
