95% Syrah, 5% Viognier. Beautiful Rhône red. Quite intense with darker fruits and blueberries. Some meaty/iron notes, black pepper and green olive. Floral dried lavender from the Viognier. Lengthy finish with a gentle tannic grip. Hard to say if I like this better than Vernay’s Saint-Joseph. With John Prine’s Sweet Revenge (1st press) @Dave — 8 months ago
