Coste Di Brenta

Uvaggio Coste della Sesia Rosso Nebbiolo Blend 2018

Every vintage is a delight.
Light, airy, aetheric and yet with nice precision & purity to the light, crunchy cherry. There’s also a hint of damson plum and cool, rocky minerality. This is very enticing.
Medium bodied on the palate with quite present, firm tannin and juicy, vibrant acidity. Cherries again with a mineral undercore. Nice depth and good length here.
Surprisingly youthful for 8y, this is holding up very nicely but is also a joy to drink now. Delish!

Contrade di Taurasi (Cantine Lonardo)

Coste Taurasi Aglianico 2016

A strong and powerful Taurasi. Has plenty of maturation potential, required 45 min to 1 Hour to smothen. Good nose, palate still Drury after 10 years, black berries. Additional attributes of dark chocolate. Great experience, was worth waiting. — a month ago
