Simple, pure fruit. Blood orange, clove and cinnamon on the nose. Smooth on the palate. Very easy to drink with bright red fruit and a well balanced acidity. — 6 years ago

Astonishing value Gamay, tart cranberry and also a little grippy with country dirt. An unserious wine but seriously good — 6 months ago
Not sure the @Delectable Wine identification is correct because I don’t know if “Cabriole” is a different cuvée than the regular Cheverny. But close enough, I guess. This is a Pinot blend with a little Gamay, I think. Really exuberant nose has tons of ripe, lively red berry and sappy cherry fruit, limestoney minerality, and a little wet loam earthiness. High-toned and fruity in the mouth, it’s a fun drink, with zingy acids and just about zero tannin. Worked well with a chicken and artichoke casserole. — 3 years ago
