Great flavor, spice, smooth — a month ago
Beautiful wine. Tasting outstanding. Dark purple fruits and berries, olive brine, dried flowers, cured meat. Its dry lingering finish of fruit and olive just lingers. This is great with 3 hours of air. So glad to have gotten this bottle. Rhone ranger!!! Probably has another 5+ years of evolution in it, maybe more. — 2 months ago
2013 intake. The label was scratched when I bought it, but the cork was perfect. Amazing wine started with the usual little Alban reduced funk but quickly blew off and licorice, iron, cinnamon and nutmeg with long finish. Loved it with Greek food at Athena Grill in Santa Clara, CA. — 10 days ago
Wow, so big, so fruity, a bit sugary. It’s old school cool, like a true OG CA Zinfandel. — a month ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2024 “Les Monts Damés” pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with white flowers, grapefruit, star fruit, alfalfa, and cream cheese stuffed poblano pepper. There’s also this Double Bubble thing going on. Wild stuff. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. In a world of increasing ambiguity, I love that this is immediately identifiable as Sancerre. Drink now through 2034+. — a month ago

Beautiful zin with full, silky body. Black and red fruits, plum, and fingers with smooth tannins. Great wine. — 2 days ago
