Cherry, corduroy. Maybe not worth the price. — 7 years ago
Very chambolle and pretty. Darkish cloudy red. Note of wild strawberry, cherry and spices. Medium body and acidity. Could smell this for a very long time. Seductive. — 8 years ago
In 1999, Jan and Bart founded Krupp Brothers, producing their first vintage: a Cabernet Sauvignon. A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, 10% Malbec, 4% Merlot & 3% Petit Verdot, 28 months barrel aging, small 224 case production. Deep dark dense red with enticing fruit and herb floral aromas adding an underlying sweetness. Cherry, plum and blackberry flavors with tobacco and oak notes, some nuttiness. Refined big tannins on lingering complex finish ending with earthy herb and fruit. Needs more time to truly enjoy. Tasting Sample — 8 years ago
In 1999, Jan and Bart founded Krupp Brothers, producing their first vintage. Bright yellow with aromas of stone fruits and sweet citrus scents. On the palate apple, melon and some peach flavors and hints of lemon citrus, delicate, complex and well balanced. Lingering finish, savory, ending with mineral tones and nutty vanilla oak. Nice! Definitely ready to drink now but could probably age a bit more too. Light and delicate, and more on the fruity side, with strawberry and raspberry flavors. Beautiful garnet color. — 6 months ago
Nice wine even quiet young vintage. 2019 drinking nicely. — 5 years ago
On the earthy side. Complex layers, very delicious. Nice structure and long finish. Cote de Nuits/Burgundy. $30 well worth it. — 7 years ago

Thanks Bart & Daphne for a wonderful expression of California cabernet. Blue and black fruits dominate the bouquet. Dark red purple black color. Soft supple tannins with some jammy flavors and leather chocolate. Nice finish medium to long. A winner. — 8 years ago

Pierre's recommendation (sommelier at restaurant) and it's so lovely! — 4 months ago
Yet another winning Marsannay from Domaine Bart. Superb nose shows a deep sousbois earthiness, a little smoky sandalwood, ripe oozing cherry, some crushed stone, and a dusting of spice. On the palate, it’s soft, nicely concentrated, and has a low-toned flavor profile of dark, pulpy cherry and dark savory notes. Tannins in the background but present enough to provide structural support. Pretty decent acids. Drinking really well now, this will easily handle a few more years. Delicious. — 5 months ago
We love this wine! Probably one of my favorites. Bart makes such interesting blends that most people haven't thought of. — 6 years ago
If this is the last wine you ever drink, you are a lucky person! Life is too short to drink bad wine. Lush, flavorful red fruit with marvelous tannins that linger forever. A cellar is a must to watch a wine grow and mature into all it can be. My hat is off to Daphne and Bart Araujo 🍷 — 7 years ago
Such a lovely burg. Wild and meaty, with ample fruit and great structure. — 8 years ago
A dream of 2 brothers, in 1999, Jan and Bart founded Krupp Brothers, producing their first vintage: a Cabernet Sauvignon. A blend of a blends 36% Tempranillo with red Bordeaux varieties. Deep red with ripe berry aromas, some herbs and licorice notes. On the palate, blackberry and sweet cherry flavors with notes of cacao and espresso. Approachable tannins but this needs long term aging. Lingering rich finish. — 8 years ago
