A delicious salinity and minerality to go with gorgeous orchard fruit, a slight touch of oak but not too much, great acidity with some roundness and richness that makes it very balanced. Great for the level, very nice bottle. 90-91 easy

Servi à l’aveugle, très Chardo au nez et en bouche, presque Chablisien vu la salinité et une minéralité fort présente. Le nez et la bouche ssont dominés par des fruits du verger, un léger élevage mais fort bien dosé, superbe équilibre abec une belle rondeur pour accompagner cette tension palpable. Très bon. 90-91

This 2001 Pommard 1er Cru has an absurdly lovely nose of earth, fruit and vegetables which is reflected in the palate. Sadly there is zero finish, the wine just disappears also no tannins to speak of. Saying that it's a beautiful wine / vintage. — 11 years ago

Slight reduction but very elegant and classy nose of white orchard fruit and some floral tones, wet stones and a lot of minerality that also that carries over on the palate, crisp and elegant, with great Puligny backbone, delicious and long mouth watering finish. Always a great wine made by the two Bachelet brothers. 92-93

Un peu réduit au nez mais très élégant et racé avec des notes florales et de fruits du verger blancs, un côté salin et minéral qui se transpose en bouche aussi.
