Lots going on right out of the gate . Your nose leads you to believe you entered a French bakery. Pears and baked apples linger in the background. The first taste weighs your tongue down but almost immediately flavors of citrus , spearmint and. baked bread jump around on a trampoline made of acidity. Don’t laugh, reminded me of the uniqueness of Vatan. — 4 years ago

Really nice Refosco... almond, chocolate, cherry, earthy touches, this is a nice and welcoming nose. The palate is balanced, with a good acid drive, cherry and raspberry notes all along, some width, some very mild chocolatey touches, a bit of matter and a bit of tannic wall in the back end of the palate. The finish is surprisingly fresh, with good acid drive, some cherry, raspberry touches, a bit of a drying layer all over the finish. There is a tiny savoury note popping in the very end which makes this a cravable pour. I like that ! — 9 days ago
