Started soft and a little salty, opened beautifully to become sweeter, more tart and intense. Very nice experience. — 2 years ago
My first taste of the 2019 vintage and this was a rather good entry point. New hautes cotes bottling from Cathiard and the Cathiard style shines through. Dark fruit, plush and sweet, silky tannins, nicely balanced with good acid. Easily the best hautes cotes I have had. — 4 years ago

Oh this is sooo good. Cherries, top soil and spices all along. Fine bottle with good length and an elegant finish. Punches above its weight. All Cathiard wines are now expensive in France having caught up with the US prices. A pity as the wines are top notch. — 8 months ago
Initially heavy on the tart cherry and cola flavors. Over an hour, the acidity mellowed and this became fuller — 6 years ago

The Vosne-esque Aux Thorey is showing beautifully at age 14, perfumed and seductive with excellent depth and concentration. It’s dark fruited, black tea and spice tinged and laced with minerality. In a great place. — 3 months ago
