Paired well with both spicy and classic Italian red sauce dishes. Lower acidity than most Italian reds, with red fruit and forest floor notes. — 3 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour alongside the 2005 vintage. The 2009 “Giulio Ferrari” pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with lovely notes of spiced apple, passion fruit, and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and fresher than the 2005 vintage. Drink now. — 5 months ago
Lookout Tree 2018 is tasting very nice today. Paired with a steak and salad and very pleased with this wine. — 23 days ago

Dark cherry up front with some sweetness with a smooth finish of black licorice and wet stone. — 6 months ago
Really intense structure and firm tannins. Would do well with another 5+ years aging. Displays wild cherry, earthy/tar quality, licorice and wood influence. — 10 days ago
The restaurant here orders it from their hometown, so it’s absolutely fabulous — 2 months ago

Medium ruby , wide light pink ruby rim . Quite aromatic on the nose with ripe red cherry , hints of thyme , rosemary and mint , with some wet stones hints . On the palate this has good freshness with vibrant acidity , red cherry and cut herbs along with a light stony , mineral character . Ripe , quite light tannins and good raspberry , herbal tinged length . Well made , vibrant and fresh . From now and over the next 3-4 years whilst it retains its youthful fruitiness . — 2 days ago
