Rome, Italy-last night here and found my new fav! Dark, it coats your throat as you drink it. It’s full bodied. Long finish. Oak-ey. Smokey. Lovely!! — 3 years ago

aroma: medium
acidity: medium plus

incredibly expressive wine coming out of muscadet. the nose is so soft compared to the mineral driven, acidic palette. i was expecting more of a biscuit-ey lies-iness, however, there is an immensely unique and pleasant smokey finish to this wine. it’s dying to be paired with some seafood!! — 4 years ago

Pool wine. Pretty decent. Not very pinot ey but whatever — 8 years ago
Vegetal. High tannins, high salinity, light bodied, great chilled and easy drinking. Not too pizza-ey. Great! — 2 years ago
Very barn-ey, pasture, rhubarb and ocean salt nose. Sharp and tart cherry flavor. A bit spritzy. This wine has a lot going on. Raspberry now-and-later and starburst. Not getting the stoney-ness often found in Pinot noir, but that is not a bad thing. Probably should have let it aerate a bit more before tasting. — 4 years ago
Interesting. Different. Rich, bramble-ey, we’ll balanced! — 6 years ago

Smoky, mineral-ey, and lighter bodied. Fun wine that’s easy to drink. Would definitely buy this again for a fun wine to break out for happy hours. — 7 years ago
A few years ago bought several bottles thinking I could medium age a few while I dipped in and out of tasting them. Now only one bottle left. Oops. I like best how its drinking now, has a nice acidic snap, had a broad, ungainly tomato-ey tone which now feels fresh & terroir specific, ie, red fruits incl wild raspberries & strawberries. Has the Beaujo straightforwardness I cherish. Weygandt imp. — 8 years ago

This is what I need on a 90 degree day. Light, fizzy, citrus-ey, and cheap! — a year ago
