Off the Frasca list in Boulder. Light gold, heavy in the glass. Petrol nose, in a good way. Also notes of pit fruit, lemon creme, river stone and some spice. In the mouth, rich fruit and good but not overpowering acidity. Had the Somm put this in a decanter an hour before we touched it. The last sip hours later was the best. Improved and grew more complex. Reminded me of a young Coche. Really good showing for a young burg. — 6 years ago

Off the Frasca list in Boulder. Dark garnet, opaque. Luscious nose. Notes of black cherry, smoked meat, slate stone, blood oranges. With air some kirsch develops. Rich and round in the mouth. Tannins are in the background. With air this grew to show a bit of heat and the kirsch thing took over. Liked this more in the beginning. Probably in a funk right now. — 6 years ago
