Pretty good. Ate steak and French fries — 7 years ago
Attractive nose - cherry, red plum, red currant, cranberry, chocolate, vanilla, coconut, toast. Cherry even more expressive on the palate too, finish not quite that long. — 9 years ago
Bouquet of coffee, great complexity of berries and earth and tannins. Time for another case. — 9 years ago

Honey, minerals, nuts...all my favorite things. Big acid, big texture — 11 years ago
I've had a few of these Moschofilero that had a silky, waxy mouthfeel but this was bracing, nervy - super acidic fresh crisp & clean. Nose was floral and citrus, palate was 7-Up, green apple, mineral, musky element but really just all kinds of racy. Finish is very dry - opened as aperitif but better with lite fare, mediterranean appetizers, etc — a month ago

Bought in Greece. Love it. — 7 years ago
Amazing dessert wine, similar but, for me, better than Vin Santo. Sweet, vanilla and cinnamon notes with a hint of... xmas... gluhwein...? Go for it! — 8 years ago
Nice wine! Somewhat surprisingly, went great with a delicate baked cod and vegetables. — 9 years ago
Weird in a good way. Punchy acid, green green fruits and sourness just towing the line but staying on the correct side. 10/10 Would hit again — 10 years ago
Great Agiorgitiko from Nemea! — 11 years ago
@Delectable Wine, This is the back label of the 2017 Chateau Davell El Dorado County Estate “Gaia” Blend. I’m not sure what varietals are in it. When we talked to the winemaker, he wouldn’t say! It’s supposed to be his top barrels of what they grow (biodynamically). Nose is soft and inviting, with sweet kirsch scents, a smoky note, a little baking spice and sun-warmed rocks. On the mouth it’s intensely flavored, very much like a mature Chateauneuf, with great balance however, and an intensely saline/salty minerality in the back half of the palate. Really good wine. Only 13.8% alcohol. The front label is a painting, very striking, with no words (that’s why I had to take a photo of the back label, so Delectable at least had a chance of identifying it, which it failed to do anyway 😕). — a year ago

Five years on from the last bottle in the case. Still good structure and acidity. Secondary fermentation rolling along, although still dark fruits, plum, licorice. But it’s starting to change more. A lot of time to go on these. — a day ago
