Bright lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of pear, apples and peaches with lime zest and hints of chalky salinity. Well balanced, lively acidity, long finish ending with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice! — 2 years ago
4 Monos entry-level, village wine. Blend of Grenache (70%), Carignan (20%) and Syrah (10%) from different vineyards in Cadalso de los Vidrios, Cenicientos and San Martin de Valdeiglesias in the Sierra de Gredos mountain range, 85km west of Madrid. Aged in oak, concrete and steel vats. Pale cherry color. Bright, juicy, reminiscent of Pinot Noir with notes of red fruit (cherries, berries) and minerals. Lively, very easy to drink. — 4 years ago
Pleasantly surprised, had a unique oakiness scent and then tasted just as good. Compelling enough to drink by itself and probably versatile with different foods. — 6 years ago
Pepper finish. Blackberry and dark chocolate. Fantastic — 6 years ago
Perfumed, Pinot-like Gredos Garnacha from a low-yield, long abandoned vineyard on mainly granitic soils in Cadalso de los Vidrios, at approximately 2,700 ft above sea level. Like other producers in the are, grapes underwent whole-cluster fermentation (con raspón). Aged for 12 months in used 300 liter barrels. Light ruby color, fragrant (strawberries, floral) and elegant — 7 years ago
@Delectable Wine it’s called Granito. Thanks. Rufete Blanco is the grape. Hint of oxidation, also sweet french wood, super mineral, floral, high toned, woodshop shavings, gras, complex and ripe, rich and dense, textured, the finish is airy and light and mineral. Fantastic. — 9 months ago
Fresh melon and pear. Great with a slight chill and perfect for a warm spring day. Would have been so good with seafood — 3 years ago

📣 Hear yea fellow humans! Its time to tune in Chile on your radar, the wine scene is hotter than ever, craftsmanship wines, from ambitious winemakers are hitting the market for a jawdropping price to quality ratio.
Like this old vine Semillon from Maule and the Bouchon Family. Fermented and matured in French oak of various size and age. Its rich, rich near luscious in its profile with plenty of honey, beeswax and ripe stone fruit. But don’t fear, its balanced by a salivating acidity (pH 3.07) and a linear crushed stone minerality that brings tensions, texture and balance, the oak is well integrated with a slight roasted nut and spice complexity. Strong mid palate through and a stimulating finish. — 5 years ago

When cool, was mineral and fresh with dark fruit flavors. As it warmed, got a little alcoholic and out-of-balance. (At 14% abv) — 8 years ago

Pithy, textured, phenolic, and structured. Deep color in the glass. More ballsy than your typical Alvarinho. Seabra is more concerned with terroir than grapes, so the wines are labeled based on soil type. — 2 months ago
