Blend of Grenache (70%), Carignan (20%) and Syrah (10%) from different vineyards in Cadalso de los Vidrios, Cenicientos and San Martin de Valdeiglesias in the Sierra de Gredos mountain range, 85km west of Madrid. Like this old vine Semillon from Maule and the Bouchon Family. Fermented and matured in French oak of various size and age. Its rich, rich near luscious in its profile with plenty of honey, beeswax and ripe stone fruit. But don’t fear, its balanced by a salivating acidity (pH 3.07) and a linear crushed stone minerality that brings tensions, texture and balance, the oak is well integrated with a slight roasted nut and spice complexity.
