Delicious full bodied wine with cherry and fig flavors... — 6 years ago
The name is not right.... but the so called specialists stick us on this one
A very deep montepulciano for the price. While most of the time they suit in the dark medium body... this one is full. An impressive job by italo Pietrantonj. It was not moving well at the store because of the more serious price range.... but since we taste it... we vouch for it and people are already coming back. Good acidity we'll balanced by a good winemaker. It still a montepukcusno but with a lot of "umph" — 3 years ago
Great notes of sweet fruit up front on the palate, a great Pinot Grigio. Reminds me why this is one of my favorite wines! — 6 years ago
Orange flowers and citrus on the nose. Sour cherry jam, strawberry, cassis on the palate. Little structure, balanced acidity. Heavier mouthfeel. Fantastic rosé. — 3 years ago
Smooth, rich, deep, full bodied, easy drinking — 4 years ago
Last bottle of vintage. 48/29/23 blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane. Inky dense purple, highly extracted. Whiff of rotten egg initially, dark cherry notes emerges later. Cola flavor with mint with length, chewy tannins in finish, light skin astringency. Needs time to open. Later black plum flavor emerges. Overall, soft, good old style Italo-California red. — 7 years ago

Very light colored wine, but dense in flavor. Mouth-coating cedar overlays the cherry, plum, and rose hip medley. A bit astringent. Maybe not the perfect pairing, but it works well with chicken piccata. Would be really nice with pork medallions.
