Aromas and flavors of dark berries and plums. Hints of dark chocolate, earth and fresh herbs. Good structure with a smooth and silky texture. Great QPR. Enjoyed at the North Shore House Wine Pairing Dinner on June 24, 2020. Wine of the night. — 6 years ago

30 year old rose for my 30 year old :-). Nose is intense, port like, and it reeks of potent alcohol, caramelized sugar, and plum. Color is brick and magenta, but with obvious degradation. The nose blew off a bit and the wine reminded me of an extended skin contact orange wine. Still good acid structure. Very interesting experience. — 9 years ago
100% Spanish Syrah. Bright ruby/violet color. Aromas of black fruit with an intense floral (violet) note as well as a bit of Spanish garrigue. Flavors of black berry/cherry/currants/plum fruit, (both fresh and dried) dark chocolate, woody herbs and noticeable black pepper spice. Distinct menthol, mineral and spicy oak notes on the long lasting and very earthy/smoky finish. Slightly chewy tannins and incredibly complex. Bright well balanced acidity. Definite cool climate vibe here. Quite good. Part of Ron B’s Navarra Party! — 4 months ago

It's not everyday that I drink a 15 years old rosé. That is also in a good shape with potential to age for more years. Old school style, complex and interesting bouquet of caramel, marzipan, apricot, blood orange and fig with some cooked notes. In a blind tasting (sniffing?) I would assume that it has some relation to Madeira wine, but then you taste it and it's bone dry and not fortified. And the acidity is high. Overall, I love this wine and it was a cherry on a cake. — 5 years ago

Pretty deep ruby with a medium wide bright ruby rim . Quite dense nose , with dark blackberry, plum , nutmeg , touch of soy and cocoa powder. On the palate this is quite rich and ripe , with dark cherry , black plum , touches of spice and vanilla , balanced acidity and grippy but fine tannins , with a touch of alcohol noticeable . Dusty cocoa , grafite and dark cherry finish , ok length and just a touch of heat . Will probably improve over the next few years as this is still pretty young, and drink well a further 8-10 years .
