Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2018 “Il Rosso delle Donne” pours a garnet color color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with gorgeous notes of fresh raspberry, strawberry, mustard seed, fennel, horse blanket, a touch of truffle, dried green herbs, a mix of organic and inorganic earth and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Giving Pommard vibes…in the best of ways. 2013 On termine le week-end avec de la belle petite bourgogne ! Un nez sauvage et complexe ! En bouche, aucune trace de bois, que des petits fruits frais, légèrement surette. Plus le vin se réchauffe et plus il prend de l’amplitude, une belle gourmandise !!! Finale un brin asséchante qui ne nuit aucunement à l’harmonie d’ensemble ! Gamay from mâconnais, with aging marked on notes of vanilla, cocoa, leather. Compared to 2016, the luxuriance of the fruit is a little more marked and gives change to the aging notes without being hidden. A well-made duel wine on a classic style.

Airy with lots of aromatic floral nuances and generous red/black fruits. 2018 is very opulent! The carbonic maceration which gives this English-sweet side characteristic of Beaujolais is here associated with an aging giving it a subtle Burgundy character which suggests a good aging potential over 3, 4 years. A sure value on Beaujolais.

Un Fleurie qui fait honneur à l’appellation. Aérien avec beaucoup de nuances aromatiques florales justement et du fruits rouges et noirs généreux. 2018 est très opulent! La macération carbonique qui donne ce côté bonbon-anglais caractéristique des beaujolais est ici associé à un élevage lui apportant un caractère bourguignon subtil qui laisse présager un beau potentiel de garde sur 3, 4 ans.
