Au Champ Salomon Marsannay Chardonnay 2018

Could be mistaken for a Mersault. Very precise and lifted nose. Discrete reduction. Juicy mid palate that is almost like a top condrieu. — 6 years ago

Château du Champ des Treilles

Le Petit Champs Sainte Foy Bordeaux

We drank this with a DELICIOUS pork chop. Unfortunately it was not the right pairing. We only started enjoying it after the taste of our dinner was gone. And then it really started delivering. Lots of levels. Savory and earthy. — 6 years ago

Cigars and fruit. Rich but dry. It’s a mouthful that just disappears.

Champ Canet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 1989

Tasted blind. Medium gold, heavy. Great leesy lemon nose. Some honey and white stone too. Very tight, with Chablis-like intensity/acidity. Seems young. I go with 02 Raveneau MdT as a guess. Surprised to see an 89 in such great condition. I had/loved the 86 of this. Would love to find me some of this 89... — 6 years ago
