Nose has few day old lemon peel, wet river rocks, lightly oxidized apple, lanolin and beeswax.

Palate has dehydrated pear & apple slices, wet sandstone, neutral oak, somewhat dry on the finish makes for a unique St. Aubin experience.

I don't think this is past enjoyment, but might be on the down side of middle age. So much minerality on the palate, almost a fruitless wine. I'll be interested to see this bottle in a couple more years, luckily still a few bottles in the cellar. — 6 years ago
