Mandrarossa ‘Timperosse’ 2018: Medium-bodied. Well structured. Balanced acidity & tannins. Palate is mostly plum & blackberry with secondary notes of black cherry, vanilla, spice & earth. The finish is lengthy & smooth. For me, this was an obscure grape variety for Italy but it worked and still retained some of its Bordeaux identity. Certainly my first Sicilian Petit Verdot and all in all, it was wonderful. I would sum it up as aromatic, beautiful & approachable with rich elegant fruit. I would definitely buy again. Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago
