Blend of 60% Palomino and 40% Moscatel, from two different vineyards, both farmed biodynamically. The Palomino comes from La Platera vineyard in Pago Miraflores (albariza soil), while the Muscat comes from Pago Abulagar ( sandy-clay soils). Fermented and aged for 9 months in used oak barrels. Very aromatic, perfumed, a bit natty. My least favorite of the lineup. — 2 years ago
This is LV14. No dosage. A year and a half since my last btl, roughly. On the nose: melon, with creme fraiche, basil, meyer lemon, meyer lemon zest. Not sure I would believe BdB blind. Color suggests skin contact...almost soft peach. On the palate: aggressive mousse at first...maybe needed a decant. Lovely acidity, lime, bitter citrus, a touch short, and very juicy on the dense and tangy finish. A stunner. — 4 years ago

This is their entry-level wine, 100% Palomino from the La Platera vineyard in the Pago Miraflores. Vines are about 25 years old and rooted in albariza lustrillos soils. Fermented and aged in stainless steel (no oak barrels, no flor). Intense, mineral nose with flinty notes. Dry, fresh, saline, elegant. — 2 years ago
LV10. Pop and pour. Stunner, but better on day 1 than on day 2. On the nose: soft florals, vanilla, lemon, lime. On the palate: soft mousse, lovely acidity, grapefruit pith, wet stone and a solid finish. Clashed a bit with some of the heat in some plates last night, but fantastic on its own. Seems to be peaking. — 4 years ago

Nose : gorgeous. A panoply of white flowers. Delicate. But intense. Expansive.
Palate: ocean spray. Brioche. Gods lemon soda. So good.
With more air … profound.
Like a 3 hour break the neck and cover. Wow.
