A gentle style of Barolo. Light ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas of cherries, dried rose petals and tar. Red and black cherry fruit flavors are complimented by notes of tobacco, balsamic vinegar and basil. Kick of pepper spice on the long finish. Extremely smooth tannins. Mouth watering acidity and medium bodied. Requires some aeration to open up. — 6 months ago

Delicious Shiraz. I wasn’t expecting much from it as it’s from the grocery store & was already 5 years old with a twist top instead of cork. I am pleasantly surprised that the taste isn’t sour. This was definitely a win — 9 months ago
