Pale lemon, lemon juice, lean and crisp, salty savory on the nose too. Very broad shouldered textural and phenolic on the palate. — 4 years ago

Wow. I would have blinded this as Syrah. So damn good. Olive , smoke ,and fruit pie on the nose. Deep macerated raspberries with olive tapenade on the palate. Rich mouthfeel, long finish make this another exciting pax wine. Love this. — 6 years ago

2005 Vintage.14.8% Alcohol. Need to open with an Ah So type opener, not a corkscrew as the corks have become brittle over time. Thank goodness for the thick bright blue wax seal as it likely saved this bottle from being corked. — 5 years ago

Another killer effort from @Pax Mahle Deep rich purple. The nose is chocolate and olive and blackberry. The palate is full and Rich with black cherry and chocolate. This finish lingers for a minute plus. Medium acidity and tannins still present but well integrated. Just another solid wine. — 6 years ago
