2023 opened Jan 2026. Lots of leather with some lavender high notes on the nose. A jolt of red fruit, cassis and cherries, on the front, balanced by solid Cab tannic structure. The Zin components lend some fruity high notes to a substantial mineral finish. This is a warm and luscious wine. — 6 months ago

Un superbe nez de fruits noirs et de violette. Extrêmement suave qui confirme la réputation de ce premier gd cru. En bouche c'est bien structuré mais le soyeux du nez n est clairement pas égalé...On ressent Un peu de sécheresse tannique de verdeur que la classe du vin ne parvient pas à masquer complètement. Très belle bouteille mais un peu en deçà de la réputation ... 1997 étant un millésime difficile à Bordeaux — 6 years ago
