Brought this back from Portugal in 2023 and finally drank it. Awesome wine even if it was maybe a little past its prime. Classic Vinho Verde citrus and floral nose and a dash of minerality. On the tongue it's missing that light effervescence I love but it still brings a lot of citrus and light fruit sweetness that balances the acidity. Would absolutely buy again if I can find it over here! — 9 months ago
Recommendation from Pam - really enjoyed it, needed time to open up but once it did it was delicious. Dark fruit, medium tannins, black tea — 5 years ago
Excellent red blend! very tasty with Andrea and anniversary dinner!! — a month ago
Final night of the cruise dinner in Le Bistro. Might be the first time we went with seafood dishes and a white wine! No Bordeaux Blanc on the included wine list so we went for a familiar grape/region. Weighty on the palate with citrus, salinity, and floral notes. Damn good for a free bottle! — 7 months ago

Oak. Leather. Smoke (could also be the charcoal bbq, verdict is still out on where the smoke is coming from).
Big and complex.

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing red and black fruits with light wood, spices, chocolates, herbs and peppercorn.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
Elegant and nicely balanced. Complex and interesting.
Still young and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and a good food wine too.
A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot. Aged in new French oak barrels for 24 months.
14% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Perfect on Colin’s roof deck. Tart. Juicy. — 2 years ago
Had this at chef Avillez’s Bairro in Lisbon’s Chiado neighborhood. First time trying a Dao DOC wine, and it was splendid. Medium bodied, dark fruit and peppery. A nice contrast to the lighter vino verde’s I’ve had a lot of in Portugal. A bottle of this in front of me would be dangerous. — 3 years ago

Dense purple color, dark fruits, quite structured/tannic, needs further cellaring (3-5 years?), long finish, very good!! — a month ago
