Wonderfully perfumed and rich eight year-old Central Coast Pinot Noir, with fruit, acid, tannins and earth in harmonious balance. Got better as the night went on, and the leftover half bottle the next day was great—soft and approachable yet complex and delicious interesting. Rather Old World, I would say. Enjoyed the 2014 vintage with Livarot cheese and an artisanal country loaf. Magnifique! — 4 years ago

Can’t tell what’s happening with nose but nice fruit and finish. Not too old. — 7 years ago
Light yellow in color with a golden hue.
Nose of citrus, limes, green apples, light peaches, light oak, wax, light vanilla and minerals.
Medium-bodied with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with limes, green apples, light grapefruits, light oak, spices, earth, herbs and light vegetables.
Tangy finish with limes and grapefruits.
This is a delicious Chardonnay from California. Spicy and complex, with light oak notes to compliment it. Tangy and interesting.
Nicely balanced, and neither tart nor bitter, which is how I like it.
Needs 30 minutes of airtime to open up properly, and better when not very cold.
This Single vineyard Chardonnay feels young and fresh, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years and see how it evolves.
Fruit forward and elegant. Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
Aged on its lees in (30% new) French Oak barrels for 14 months. Vegan and unfintered. A small production of only 6,600 bottles.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Very, very hipster label. Plenty of info on the back. Color is excellent. Smells of older stuff. Books and attics. Maybe some cherry and berry stuff. Horehound candy. Flavors are amazing. Fruit of the tree and vine. A bit of smoke. Balanced. Aged great. I hope they still make this. — 6 months ago
Just about the best Zinfandel I’ve had in quite a while. Excellent balance of fruit and floral flavors. A light, but refined texture. It was an outstanding accompaniment to Thanksgiving dinner at my daughter’s new home. Got his at the winery for $60. #zinfandel #pasorobleswine #pasowine #thanksgivingwine — 7 months ago

Previous bottles were bomb but this one tasted kind of sour for some reason — 6 years ago
First of two... tremendous fruit, almost to the point of overwhelming. Took over an hour for it to open up and allow the minerals to become more prominent. Once it did, however, the wine was a quintessential Talley production. Delicious. Could probably age another 5-8+ years — 6 years ago

Roberto Carli
It leads with black olives, then a touch of brett but pleasant, purple flowers, and a good amount of stony minerality. Very quintessential Syrah. A little bit of bacon fat and smoke. On the palate the body is light. Tannins are moderate and fine and it brightens up the profile with good acidity even though the finish is not very long. It's very clear what they're trying to do and they're achieving it here. — 3 months ago
