A perfect pairing with tonight's sausage pizza and lasagna. Took me a minute to figure out who makes this wine, as the producer's name is in the smallest print. Dusty cherries, plums, leather, basil, tea leaves at the end. Fair acidity and a very soft mouthfeel make this chianti a winner.

I'll leave the detailed reviews to the professionals. I've had this in the seller for a few years. Finally opened, decanted, let it sit for about an hour. Fantastic tannins on the finish. Exactly what I like. Does not disappoint.  — 4 months ago
