Tasted blind, presented by Sue Bell. I picked Riesling, Australian and missed Porongurups WA. A brilliant Riesling made by Rob Diletti at Castle Rock WA. Lovely aromatics of Musk and Bath Talc. At 5 years the acid had settled and the citrus was going towards stone fruit. Really enjoyed this. — 5 years ago
Nice flavorful, dry Cab Sauv. Great wine for the price. — 6 years ago
Visit the castle, take in the Tuscan views, taste the wine. This Chianti is the essence of its place, sublime. — 8 years ago
Cherry, strawberry and fine tannin. Good balance. From the Great Southern — 8 years ago
Oak on the nose, herbal, nectarine skin. Taste is mineralic, dry, mellow. Strong acidity. — 9 years ago

Full bodied wine with cherry & cassis. Spicy finish! Delish! — 4 years ago
Quite consistent with my notes from ~6 months ago:
Nose has over-ripe apricot, almond oil, marzipan, meringue cookie and cold butter.
Palate has warmed apricot pie with extra flakey, buttery crust, sweet sand, white flower honey and mango.
Admittedly I love Sauternes and have many bottles, yet it's a rarity on opening and posting to the Community. We paired this bottle with a hard, smoked goat cheese from a local, Hudson valley producer, a solid match of sweet and salty. — 7 years ago
Cherry and spice, just like the label says. Great balance. This one is out of the park. — 8 years ago
Really tasty! Juicy and a bit tart. — 8 months ago

This stuff is dangerous. Smooth, light on the tongue, but not simple. A light gold color, some kind of melon note and vanilla flavors. Great at this price; points for cost/benefit ratio. At Cory's in the freezing cold. — 5 years ago
Enjoyed on December 17, 2019. I thought it was good!😄 — 7 years ago
