When this wine was made in 1976 I was -10 years old. A real treat to drink a 49 year old wine in this kind of superb condition. Hand carried back from San Sebastián. The fruit is still very pure, so well integrated, and still has freshness mixed in with its age. — a year ago

Picarana is the “village” white, made with Albillo Real or Albillo de Madrid (completely different from Albillo Mayor found in Ribera del Duero) from different sites around San Martín de Valdeiglesias. White fruit, floral notes. Round, quite ripe, moderate acidity. — 3 years ago

Ardanza is always so great for the price. 2015 has beautiful fruit and concentration. Tobacco. Needs 3-4 years but ready now if you like ‘em young like Dylon. Pair with still quivering rare Chuleton rib steak in San Sebastián. — 4 years ago
